Steve Wilson joins the Bernhard and Company team as Business Development Manager – Pacific Asia

Steve will head up a team of territory managers and technical specialists to support Bernhard’s Pacific Asia distributors and customers.

“I am really excited to begin my career with Bernhard and Company. As a previous Express Dual and Anglemaster user, the opportunity to communicate the benefits of the sharpening system is a perfect fit for me,” says Steve.

Steve has been involved in the golf industry for over 20 years, starting out by helping his family build and operate their golf course - which opened in 1990. Past roles in the industry have taken Steve from Canada to California, Texas and Japan, where he has been based for the past seven years.

Steve will also head up Bernhard’s tournament support efforts in Asia, which number 10 or so each year and include several European Tour events.

“I enjoy the camaraderie and team building major tournaments instil in people. It’s great to go to tournament and see volunteers, turf professionals from other properties and vendors working as a team to support the host staff. It’s a lot of work but a great feeling at the end of the tournament,” says Steve.

Steve began his new role with the company on December 1st, 2008.
