Bernhard's receives letter of thanks for their support at the Ryder Cup tournament support.

Jim McKenzie, Celtic Manor Resort Estates Manager, and Cal Callaby, Equipment Manager, have just about recovered from an amazing Ryder Cup. They kindly took the time to write a letter of thanks to Bernhard and Ben Taylor, Bernhard Technical Training Manager, for their support in the lead-up to the Ryder Cup.

"Ben Taylor did a splendid job for us in the lead up to the Ryder Cup, we deliberately held back on grinding the fairway units until Ben and the volunteer technicians arrived which ensured the very best possible cut throughout the tournament, this worked well as the fairways were absolutely stunning - the best we have ever seen."

"Due to the adverse weather conditions, cutting was minimised but there was still a significant amount of sharpening to do and Ben worked amazingly hard and with good humour. Please pass on our thanks to him."

"As you know the tournament was a huge success despite the weather. The presentation of the course was first class and many comments were made to that effect both in the papers and on TV. The workshop and Ben's efforts played a huge part in this sparkling presentation."

"Once again thank you for your support."
